MOH-JO is an online retailer selling a hand-picked selection of premium men skincare products. They came to us to design their identity.

The word "MOH-JO" is a riff of the word "mojo", or that mysterious quality that gives a man his confidence, allure and charm. We started off by doing extensive research in men's brands, not just for skincare, but also for grooming and fashion, to get insight into the look for the identity. We felt it had to be stylish, modern, clean and clinical, much like the brands of the products MOH-JO would carry, which includes the likes of Dior, Biotherm, Lancome, etc.

The mark that we designed took the initials M and J and gave it treatment evocative of water droplets for a clean, refreshing feel. The circular water drops gave it a futuristic digital style, which we felt was perfect for an online retailer.

We suggested ways to apply the identity to various products which could be given away as corporate premiums or sold as branded products, such as bath candles, travel bags and shaving kits. The client loved all the ideas we proposed and went ahead with the design that you see here.
