Harper's Bazaar needs no introduction: the high-end women's fashion and beauty lifestyle magazine has been at the forefront of reporting international fashion trends for over 100 years. The Hong Kong edition of the magazine hired us to redesign their website with their sophisticated, design-conscious readers in mind.
The new website design needed to bring Harper's Bazaar in line with the changing needs of its readers and demographic. We gave it a minimal and sophisticated look which is in-line with their American and UK counterparts, plenty of large visuals for their editorials, and of course all the requisite social sharing functionality.
The client's desire to make the website more interactive and engaging led to the development of the "Lookbook" feature, which allows users to save, collect and share their favourite looks and products from the pages of Harper's Bazaar into their own personal online collection. It was built on Drupal 7 and shortly after the launch we added a mobile version and has since been engaged for on-going support and enhancements.
