Asia to Africa Safaris are the first bespoke luxury safari specialists in Asia. They have arranged thousands of African safaris and have grown rapidly across Asia through mostly word-of-mouth since 2002.
While their original website was quite informative, it looked dated after five years and had not been effective in generating inquiries and reaching more prospects. Without a content management system, the website was also difficult to maintain hence further reduced their visibility and potential reach.
It is not common in Hong Kong to see clients spending the extra cost and time to do a full website evaluation and we are glad that Asia to Africa Safaris went for it. After a thorough evaluation, we identified a number of issues that affected conversion, usability and search exposure and worked the proposed solutions into the scope of the revamp.
For example, we discovered that the destination pages were popular but the bounce rate was very high, so we went deeper to analyze those pages and came up with a redesign that make them more structured, appealing and interactive.
On top of overhauling the structure, content and functionality, we also took advantage of the jaw-dropping safari photography available to us to create a fresh, modern look with large images and plenty of slideshows and galleries that give potential travelers a sense of what adventure lies ahead. The end result is a website that is engaging, informative, easy to update and search engine friendly.
