Eight Custom Media, a publishing arm of market research firm Synovate, commissioned BeansBox to develop its online magazine website, Change Agent. Change Agent publishes monthly articles about market research insights on brands, customer experience and statistics on emerging markets, based on surveys and findings from surveys across various markets worldwide.

The magazine site features monthly articles, classified into multiple categories that can be customized under the Content Management System. Administrators can also upload media files such as photos and videos and modify how contents appear on the page. Visitors can create accounts and customize the type of articles they read based on individual preferences.

Each article is seamlessly integrated with social networking toolbars for easy sharing to content sharing and bookmarking sites such as Digg, Reddit and Delicious. RSS feeds are available for each article category for more flexible distribution of content.

Provided with Change Agent’s creative design, BeansBox developed the back end programming for Content Management System (CMS) using ExpressionEngine in PHP, utilizing MySQL database under Linux platform. Moreover, the project was developed under CodeIgniter framework.

BeansBox also ensured that Change Agent pages are search engine friendly by creating custom page title for articles, well-structured navigation system and healthy internal linking structure.
